GES Releases Regional Teacher Postings, Onboarding Starts August 7
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released regional postings for successful applicants in the 2026 teacher recruitment exercise, marking a key step toward deploying new teachers into public schools nationwide.
In a statement issued on Monday, July 28, 2026, the GES confirmed that posting details are now available on the official recruitment portal.
“Successful applicants are to log in using their vouchers to access their posting details free of charge,” the Service stated.
To facilitate deployment, GES has directed all successful applicants to report to their respective Regional Education Offices beginning Thursday, August 7, 2026, to commence the onboarding process.
The onboarding is expected to cover verification of documents, orientation, and further directives on assumption of duty at assigned schools.
“Management expresses appreciation to all applicants for the cooperation,” the statement added.
GES urged applicants not to pay anyone to check their postings, stressing that the process is entirely free.
