Chieftaincy Minister Admires Asantehene’s Wisdom

The Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Stephen Asamoah Boateng, has expressed his admiration for the insight and intellect Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II possesses.

According to him, the wisdom of the King is beyond description.

“I have personally interacted with him a couple of times, even before my appointment as substantive Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, and I cannot put in words, the depth of wisdom and knowledge His Majesty possesses,” he said in his speech at the “Ahoho Da” Durbar at the Manhyia Palace on April 24, 2024.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has since his ascension to the Golden Stool mesmerized countless people with his in-depth knowledge and wisdom across all spheres.

This has earned him the title, “King Solomon” as many regard him as the King Solomon of this generation.

His intervention in the country’s affairs including the economy and conflict resolution both at the national and international levels has on numerous occasions saved the nations from distress in successive governments.

Through his highly cherished wisdom, the infamous Dagbon conflict which had spanned for over a decade was amicably resolved, making way for the enskinment of a Chief.

In his speech, the Minister stated, “At a time when people are calling for the abolishment of the Chieftaincy Institution that has been bedevilled by conflicts in recent years, we are on the contrary proud and honoured to associate ourselves with Otumfuo, whose efforts in education, health, poverty, conflict resolution and capacity building for traditional leaders, are remarkable.”
