Asamoah Gyan Secures Coaching Licence

Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan has earned UEFA B coaching licence.

He shared a picture of himself clutching to his newly acquired licence in a tweet on Thursday morning.

In the middle of this year, he reportedly took a trip to Wales for a coaching course put together by the Football Association of Wales.

Months after completing the course, Gyan has been awarded a UEFA B coaching licence.

“Your new UEFA License Coach is here” he tweeted.

He showed appreciation to Wales FA and hinted at taking another coaching course next year.

“…this is just the beginning. January 2023 Coaching Clinic loading”.

Coaching Clinic is a two-day leadership programme designed to train managers, executives, leaders and supervisors to use coaching techniques in their work relationships, and thus gain the advantage of bringing a coach approach to managing people.

Gyan is following his dream line of becoming a coach although he is not retired as a footballer, he says.

The Ghanaian striker hasn’t played for a while now.
