It’s Untrue I’ve Renovated My PMMC Office at a Cost of ¢173k- Sammy Gyamfi

The Acting Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Managing Company (PMMC), Sammy Gyamfi has debunked claims that he has renovated his office at a cost of GH¢173,940.

It had been reported that the amount covered changes he had made to the chair, desk, fridge and design of the office.

Debunking the claims in a statement, he said every piece of furniture in his office existed before he assumed office last month.

“I have made no changes to my office since assuming office as Ag. MD for the PMMC on 20th January 2025. All the things in my office, including the chair, desk, fridge etc. were there before I assumed office. Not even the A4 sheets or pens on my office desk have been changed.”

Urging the public to disregard the false narratives, the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), availed for verification, adding that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is behind it.

“Kindly double-check claims made by their communicators and social media surrogates, lest you fall prey to their deliberate disinformation narratives.”
