I’ll Draw Inspiration From Asantehene- CSU Chancellor Emmanuel Kwaku Asante

The new Chancellor of Christian Service University, Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Kwaku Asante, has resolved to draw inspiration, strength and wisdom from the Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
He sees Otumfuo as the ideal personality to model himself after in his newfound role.
At the first Awukudae Festival on January 14, 2026, where he was introduced by the University to the King, he underscored the enormity of the task and the confidence reposed in him.
That notwithstanding, he intends to depend on the Asantehene for the needed guidance and direction to administer the affairs of the 50-year institution.
“I was one of the first products of the institution and so witnessed the inception and progress of the school. Now I have been called upon to take this task. Otumfuo is a Chancellor, and I will depend on his guidance to steer what has been entrusted to me. Henceforth, the progress of the school will depend on Otumfuo.”
The University also introduced Lawyer Kwame Boafo as the Council Chair and Dr Stephen Banahene as the Vice Chancellor.
Meanwhile, he welcomed the Vice Chancellor and encouraged all three to give their utmost best to reposition the institution.
The Asantehene also promised to visit the institution.
