6 Arrested For Constructing Illegal Residential Properties

The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resource (MLNR) has facilitated the arrest of Six (6) persons for illegally constructing residential properties.

This was announced by the Ministry in a tweet.

The arrest was effected when Deputy Minister for the Lands and Natural Resources, George Mireku Duker, paid an unannounced visit to Tuba in the Ga South Municipality in Accra where the construction was steadily progressing.

The six are mainly artisans, the Ministry explained.

According to the ministry, they were arrested by the security personnel from the Weija-Gbawe District Police Command.

The Minister visited the place on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
