2 Armed Robbers Convicted To 20years Imprisonment
Two armed robbers have been sentenced to twenty-year imprisonment each.
The two are Emeka Opara and Samuel Kalo.
According to the police, the two attacked their victim at the Ecobank branch at Abrepo junction in the Ashanti Region and bolted with an amount of Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 30, 000.00).
They were subsequently arrested by the police on May 30, 2022.
Additionally, the police say the GHc30,000 was retrieved.
Displaying their pictures on social media, the Ghana Police Service explained that “we have displayed their images in line with our new standard operating procedure”.
It added, “any member of the public who can recognise any of them in connection with other crimes, should kindly contact the nearest police station for further action”.
