What The GPL Table Looks Like After Match Week 4

Sunyani-based Bofoakwa Tano is leading the league table with an unbeaten record after four games in the 2023/2024 betPawa Premier League season.

The promoted side holds eight points, one point ahead of Nsoatreman and Legon Cities.

The club have to their name two wins and two draws after a goalless draw against Accra Lions on Sunday. They will lock horns with Bibiani Gold Stars (6 points and 5th-placed) at home on Saturday.

FC Sarmatex are keenly following Cities with their six points from two losses and two wins. The 2022/2023 season’s first runner up, Aduana Stars and Great Olympics as well hold six points.

Occupying the eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh places on the table are Karela United, Accra Lions, Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC respectively with five points.

Nations FC and champions Medeama SC having an outstanding game are 12th and 14th respectively on the table with four points each from Match week three games. Thirteenth-place Kpando Hearts of Lions and 15th-placed Berekum Chelsea with four points each are holding their breaths against falling into the relegation zone.

Wallowing in the relegation zone where until Monday was occupied by Asante Kotoko and Medeama are Hearts of Oak (4), Real Tamale United (4) and Bechem United (3).

The next match week begins today as Asante Kotoko host Aduana Stars.
