Asanteman Mourns: Newmont Ghana Sponsors Brochures For Burial Rites of Nana Konadu Yiadom III
Newmont Ghana has partly sponsored the production of brochures for the burial rites of the late Nana Konadu Yiadom III, Asantehemaa.
An amount of money was presented to the Manhyia Palace for the cause on September 8, 2025, during a courtesy visit by some Management members.
They also donated drinks and bottles of water in support of the upcoming burial rites.
Newmont Ghana was at the Palace purposely to convey a condolence message to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, over the demise of Asantehemaa.
The company was represented by Mr Abraham Agbozo, the Head of Government Relations, Ing. Alex Kofi Annin, the General Manager of Newmont Africa’s Ahafo South Mine and others during their visit to the Manhyia Palace.
The Asantehene welcomed the show of love by the company and prayed for the success of the business.
The burial rites of the late Queen will begin on September 15 and end on September 18.
