This Is Not The First Time Oyerepa Has Been Approached On Media Ethics – NMC
The National Media Commission has established that the Oyerepa FM-Odike issue is not the first time the FM station has been approached to act according to media ethics and professionalism.
Speaking on Opemsuo Radio with Agudey, the Executive Secretary of NMC, Mr. George Sarpong stated that the media commission before this issue had released a statement to the said media station on the manner and way they operate which is way off the ethics of the media.
Mr. George stated that it should not be projected as if the Kumasi Traditional Council has advertently closed down the station as there is ambiguity surrounding the station.
He said the NMC has intervened to get things in order.
He, therefore, admonished media houses to establish the truth always by the media in handling issues.
