Nana Konadu Yiadom III Dɔte Yie: Stay Away from Dais- Manhyia

Among the directives to the members of the public who wish to attend the burial rites of the Queen of the Asante Kingdom is access to key points within the Manhyia Palace.
One of them is the dais.
In a notice, the Manhyia Palace said only accredited persons will have access to the dais.
“The public should kindly STAY AWAY from the DAIS unless duly accredited.”
Meanwhile, the public will have access to file past the remains of the Queen for all four days.
For the media, only cameramen with All Access accreditation housing their pictures would be allowed access to the dais, while only one reporter from radio stations would be granted access to the inner lane.
The carefully planned rites will witness a series of activities from September 15 to September 18, when the rites will come to an end.
Her Majesty will be buried on the last day.
Filing past is reserved to take place sequentially among dignitaries and the general public from September 15 to 18, between 5 am and 5 pm, except for the last day, when it will end at 11 am to make way for a burial service at 3 pm.
These days will also see the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, sit in state as the chief mourner.
A key point to note is the institution of the restriction on outdoor movement effective 7 pm on September 18 to make way for the burial of Her Majesty.
