Police Pursue Buyer of Stolen iPhone 11 Pro Max

The police in Accra are pursuing a buyer of a stolen iPhone 11 Pro Max after successfully arresting and securing convictions for four persons.

According to the Accra Regional Police Command, the convicts robbed the victim of the said phone as well as a Samsung tablet and ¢6000 at knifepoint on February 5 at ACP Junction near Kwabenya.

“They used guns and scissors on their victim. The victim sustained knife wounds during the attack.”

It appears that the robbers sold the phone to another person.

At the presser on May 26, the police said, they were “pursuing a suspect in Koforidua who allegedly purchased the stolen iPhone 11 Pro Max.”

Three of the suspects were arrested through targeted operations and put before court for prosecution.

They were eventually convicted and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment each.

The remaining suspect was later arrested alongside a different gang of robbers in connection with a May 11 robbery at the Josbakery head office located at Dome.

He was put before the court and handed 15 years imprisonment sentence.
