Amoakohene Announces Plans to Clear Right of Way for Suame-Asonomaso Road Expansion

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, has announced plans to commence the expansion of the Suame to Asonomaso Nkwanta road corridor.

According to the Minister, engagements will be undertaken to clear the right of way to pave the way for the project to begin.

“Suame through to Asonomaso Nkwanta. We shall engage to clear the right of way to commence the road expansion project on that corridor. November,” Dr Amoakohene stated in a Facebook post.

The Suame-Asonomaso Nkwanta stretch is a key corridor in the Ashanti Region, linking Kumasi to several communities towards the north, and has long faced congestion and deterioration due to heavy traffic.

The expansion project is expected to improve traffic flow, enhance road safety and boost economic activities along the corridor when completed.
