Rev Lawrence Tetteh Appointed Sale of State Lands Committee Member

Televangelist, Rev Lawrence Tetteh has been appointed as a member of the Sale of State Lands Committee.
He was unveiled among the six-member committee that was inaugurated by the Minister for Land and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
The committee is mandated to conduct a thorough review of the processes, approvals and transactions related to the sale or use of government and public lands; Identify any anomalies, irregularities or breaches of procedure; and Assess the level of compliance with the existing land laws, policies and administrative guidelines.
They are to also advise on the timing of the sale of public lands (auction, tender) and submit a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations, not only ensuring value for money but also guiding reforms in the administration and disposal of public lands.
The Committee has until July 31 to submit its report.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Minister for Lands emphasized that their mandate was a call to national duty.
“You have been carefully selected based on your expertise, integrity and commitment to national development. You need to approach this assignment with the seriousness and diligence it deserves.
“Your work will have far-reaching implications on the confidence of citizens placed in our land and our governance system. The committee must rise above partisanship, personal interest, institutional inertia.”
He pledged his full support and that of subsidiary agencies to facilitate their work.
