Star Oil Investigates Asukawkaw Accident That Left 4 Dead

The Management of Star Oil has announced an internal investigation into an accident involving its Bulk Road Vehicles near Asukawkaw in the Oti Region on Thursday, 14th August 2025.

The accident claimed four lives and left 14 others injured.

In a statement, it said, “The Company has initiated its internal investigative processes and will collaborate fully with the police to determine the cause of the accident.”

Meanwhile, it mourned the death of the four and sympathised with the injured.

“The Management of Star Oil Ltd extends our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives. Our thoughts are also with the injured, and we wish them a swift and full recovery.”
It announced plans to support the affected families.

“We are working closely with emergency services and local authorities to ensure that all necessary support is provided to the affected families and individuals.”
