Suame Demo: I’m Not The Organizer Of The Demo – Suame Youth Leader Refutes Claims
The leader of the Suame Magazine Youth and chief of Dwenewoho in the Ashanti Region, Nana Owusu Ampofo Twumasi has expressed his worries and disappointment about the incident that happened yesterday at Suame.
Nana Ampofo stated that he was not the one who organized the youths to demonstrate against Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu as some people assert. According to him, he was not even around when the incident occurred.
Nana Twumasi stated that Honorable Kyei Mensah Bonsu informed the garage leaders at Suame to meet and discuss the bad road network and the overall underdevelopment that has engulfed the area, however, the youth were not happy about it, causing them to agitate for the betterment of the Municipality.
Nana Owusu Ampofo said that the youth are not ashamed of what occurred as they seek the welfare of the area. In a nutshell, all that they are expecting from authorities is a massive development in the region.
Nana Ampofo Twumasi appealed to the government to fulfill the promises made to the Ashanti region.
