Suame Assembly: We Started Arresting Flock And Herd Traders At Suame Roundabout Last Thursday

The Suame Roundabout has become the trading center of flock, herd and cattle by some unscrupulous people occasionally and this year’s Eid-ul-Ahda celebration was no different.

Presiding Member of the Suame Municipal Assembly, Hon. Kofi Boakye has stated that the Suame Assembly’s Zonal Council was charged to get people trading in flock, herd and cattle at the Suame Roundabout arrested.

According to him, they were fined and their animals seized. This began on Thursday, 7th July, 2022 when the celebration was fast approaching and some were spotted repeating the act this time around too.

Hon. Kofi Boakye stated that the unfortunate thing is that, the Zonal Council could not continue with the arrest and its supervision mainly because those heading the action were Muslims too and were kept busy because of the occasion which paved way for the trading to thrive massively on the Saturday and the Sunday.
