Speaker Officially Announces Death Of Former MP For Old Tafo

RT Hon Speaker Alban S K Bagbin this morning officially announced the death of former member of parliament for old Tafo constituency, former deputy finance minister and former minister for monitoring and Evaluation, Hon Anthony Akoto Osei in parliament

According to speaker Bagbin the late Dr Akoto Osei distinguished himself both at the ministry and his work as member of parliament. Before he joined politics, the Speaker said, Dr Akoto Osei was a known face among civil society.

Rt hon Speaker Bagbin asked the House to observe a minute of silence in honour of the late Dr Akoto Osei.

He also tasked the leadership of parliament to present a full statement before parliament in order for members to contribute.
