President Hooting: K.T Hammond Condemns Incident, Calls It Disrespectful

The Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa constituency and a member of the Mines and Energy Committee of Parliament Hon, K.T Hammond has condemned a section of audience who hooted at the president of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Global Citizens festival held last Saturday, September 24 in Accra.

Whilst delivering his address, President Akufo-Addo was hooted by a section of the crowd, who chanted “Away! Away!”

The lawmaker Mr. K.T Hammond described the action of the crowd as disrespectful and advised the youth to be patient and should not take political advantage to disrespect the president on such an international platform which will set a precedence.
