Eight hundred and eight personnel were working at the Presidency as of the end of December 31, 2025, according to an annual report on staffing at the Office of the President submitted to Parliament.

The report, submitted in line with Section 11 of the Presidential Office Act, 1993 (Act 463), breaks down the workforce into 233 political appointees and 575 civil servants and other public officers assigned to the Presidency.

The document covers the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025, and details the number of presidential staff employed during the year, their respective ranks and grades, and the number of employees seconded from other public services to the Office.

The submission forms part of the Presidency’s statutory obligation to account annually to Parliament on its staffing composition.

The full report, which includes the names, positions, and grades of staff at the Presidency, has been laid before Parliament for scrutiny.

Of the 808 employees, 233 are political appointees, while 575 are civil and public service workers.

The annual disclosure is intended to promote transparency and enable Parliament to oversee the size and structure of staff at the Office of the President.
