Police Rearrest 3 of 6 Escapees From Adabraka District Cells
The Ghana Police Service has rearrested three of the six suspects who escaped from custody at the Adabraka District Police Station on Saturday, April 26, 2026.
In a statement, the Police said a manhunt is underway to apprehend the remaining three escapees.
A full investigation has also been launched into the circumstances surrounding the jailbreak.
“It has intensified a manhunt to arrest the remaining three escapees and ensure they are brought to justice,” the statement said.
The Police assured the public of their commitment to maintaining law and order and appealed for support in locating the fugitives.
“We urge anyone with credible information on the whereabouts of the remaining escapees to report to the nearest police station,” it added.
The identities of the rearrested suspects and those still at large were not disclosed.
The Police say updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
