Our Tables Were Given Out To Some Chinese At The Pub – MP Explains ill-treatment At A Pub
The Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North, Collins Adomako Mensa has revealed the ill-treatment he was given when he went to a club to chill and relax.
The legislator told the public he was at a pub with his friends when one of the waiters approached their table and told them to relocate to another one because it has been reserved.
No sooner did they realise that they were moved from the table for some Chinese to sit and enjoy.
He explained that he was shocked to see such happen to him, a Member of Parliament and also a citizen of Ghana.
Hon. Collins Adomako Mensa entreated the public to be mindful of the fight against illegal mining that is ‘Galamsey’ in the country because it is not only the responsibility of the government and that is the reason such situation happen to him.
He added if we continue to politicise this canker, we will be victims of the harm Galamsey and the Chinese will bring to us as a country.
Currently, there is an issue of a foreign illegal miner Aisha Huang who is under prosecution together with her colleagues and is now locked up in police custody.
