Ghana Esports Federation Announces Selection Tournament For GamrX Championship
The Ghana Esports Federation (GESF) has set July 28, 2025, to hold a selection tournament for the upcoming GamrX4 National Selection Tournament.
The tournament will be used to determine Ghana’s official representatives for the 4th Edition of the GamX Championship set to be held in Lagos on August 8, 2025.
The selection tournament will feature EAFC 25, Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6.
The winners of EAFC 25 and MKIl in Accra will face off against standby champions from Kumasi in a final playoff to decide who qualifies for GamrX4.
Meanwhile, the winner of Street Fighter 6 in Accra will automatically qualify to represent Ghana, as this category was not contested in Kumasi, the Federation said in a statement.
“We encourage all skilled and passionate gamers who are eager to represent Ghana on the continental stage to register and participate in this exciting competition. This is your moment to rise, compete, and make Ghana proud!”
It reiterated its commitment to promoting a safe and healthy environment for all Esports activities in Ghana.

Registration Fee:
– GHS 100 for general participants
– GHS 50 for officially registered GES athletes
