Nana B Disputes Attack Claims By NDC Officials At Ernest Kumi’s One Week

The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, known as Nana B, has disputed claims by the governing party’s officials that they were attacked at the one-week observation of the late MP for Akwatia Constituency, Ernest Kumi.

Rather than an attack, he defended the actions of the mob as a protest to the “inappropriate” demeanour with which the officials stormed the grounds.

“For me, the NDC delegates were not attacked. They came for this one week,” he told the media.

According to him, the outfit of the delegation from the governing party didn’t reflect the solemn moment.

“For me, they were dressed even inappropriately. I saw the deputy secretary in a certain khaki. It looks like they are not perturbed about the death of our beloved brother. General Asiedu was in a certain smock. I saw my brother Yamin in a certain T-shirt.

“In fact, the candidate himself was in a white or pink attire. When General Asiedu Nketia was coming, he was doing his signature sign. Very, very inappropriate. You’re coming for the former MP’s one week, and you are signalling there will be a certain chaos.”
