Mahama Begins Ashanti Region ‘Thank You’ Tour Today

President John Dramani Mahama will be in the Ashanti Region to continue his tour to express appreciation to the region for sponsoring his return to power after eight years in opposition.

This was confirmed in a statement by the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC).

“I have been directed by the Hon. Regional Minister to respectfully inform all Stakeholders and the general public that the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, will be visiting the Ashanti Region on a ‘Thank You Tour’.”

“This is to express his profound gratitude to the people of the region for their overwhelming support in the just-ended general elections held in December 2024.”

The president is expected to, among his schedule, hold an engagement at the Kumasi Jubilee Park at noon.

“In this regard, you are all cordially invited to attend this important occasion and show solidarity by welcoming H. E. John Dramani Mahama to the Region.”
