The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG)has noted that users of MBH meters will not be able to purchase electricity credit till their metering systems are updated.
In a notice, it said its staff members are undertaking the update at the premises of the MBH metering system users across the country in accordance with international practices.
Users have thus been advised to avail for the processes involved in the update.
“As required by international standards, the MBH metering system is being updated. ECG staff are visiting MBH customers to enter token ID numbers to update the meters.”
It continued, “However, customers can call the ECG contact centre on 0302 611611, visit their ECG district offices or their nearest 3rd party vendors for the update and purchase of electricity.
“Please note that you cannot purchase electricity through the ECG mobile app unless your assigned MBH meter has been updated.”
