Mahama Congratulates William Ruto

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has congratulated newly elected Kenyan President, William Ruto on his election.

“Congratulations Dr William Samoei Ruto on your election as President of Kenya.”

This comes a day after the Supreme Court of Kenya ruled in favour of the former vice President against the petitioner, Raila Odinga.

“As bearer of the trust of the Kenyan people, as affirmed in a clear, transparent manner by the Supreme Court, this is the time to unite the good people of Kenya for continued growth and prosperity”, Mahama said.

Wishing Ruto well with the new mandate reposed in him, the former president of Ghana said, “I have every confidence that you will deliver on your mandate to the people”.
