The Minority in Ghana’s Parliament has called on the Examinations Council to act swiftly in canceling leaked West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) papers.
According to Mr. Thomas Musah, the matter being investigated and appropriate sanctions meted out to culprits is not enough to bring examination malpractices to an end.
“We should change our educational system from theoretical all time as well. This will curb some of the malpractices”, Mr. Musah told host, George Opoku Mensah during a telephone conversation on Nkwantananso Show.
Some papers in the ongoing WASSCE including Economics and English have leaked on social media with answers.
Some students demonstrated against what some of the students believed was a calculated attempt to fail most of them.
Meanwhile, the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has also strongly condemned the leakage of examination papers in the ongoing 2020 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
