Kumasi Mayor Inspects Police Station, Schools to Address Infrastructure Needs

The Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Richard Kwasi Ofori Boadi Agyemang, together with officials of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), has undertaken working visits to the Kumasi Central Police Station, Kumasi Girls Senior High School, and Kumasi Secondary Technical Senior High School to assess critical infrastructure and development needs.
The visits provided the Mayor with an opportunity to interact directly with institutional heads, review priority challenges facing the institutions, and explore practical solutions to support growth and improve service delivery.
Discussions focused on areas requiring urgent intervention to create a more conducive environment for learning, security and overall development.
Hon Ofori Boadi Agyemang said the engagements reflect the Assembly’s commitment to working closely with stakeholders across Kumasi to identify challenges at the grassroots and respond with targeted interventions.
He noted that strengthening infrastructure in schools and security institutions is central to improving quality education and ensuring the safety of residents.
The KMA officials said the feedback gathered during the visits will inform immediate remedial actions and feed into the Assembly’s broader development plan for the metropolis.
The Assembly reiterated its pledge to continue engaging communities and institutions to create a better environment for learning, security and sustainable development across Kumasi.
