It’s Just To Take Deep Breath- Kudus On Signature Celebration

Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus says his newly adopted goal celebration signature is only an avenue for respite.

In an interaction with Pop artiste Guvna B, a known West Ham fan, the midfielder said meanings read into his goal celebration style are wrong.

According to him, the celebration has no meaning and is meant just to take a deep breath.

“Obviously when you get to this level and you do stuff like that people try to give deeper meanings to it. This doesn’t mean anything bro. I’m just taking a deep breath. It means nothing to me. I just sit down to take a deep breath.”

The £35.6m West Ham signing has hit the net nine times after 21 appearances across all competitions.

He hit five goals in the English Premier League last Sunday when he delivered a brace to power his side to a 3-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

He has scored three goals in the Europa League and one in the EFL.

His fine form has seen him comfortably graduate from being a reserve player to the starting 11 following his signing in August 2023.
