Health Ministry Opens Admissions Portal for 2026/2027 Health Training Programmes Tomorrow
The Ministry of Health says it will open its online admissions portal for the 2026/2027 academic year on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Qualified candidates can apply for Degree, Diploma, and Certificate programmes at public health training institutions across Ghana, the Ministry said in a statement.
The application window will close on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Application Process
Applicants are required to purchase a voucher costing GH¢150.00 through the official portal at https://healthtraining.gov.gh, with each voucher coming with a unique PIN and serial number, which will be used to access and submit the online application form.
The Ministry said all vouchers purchased would remain valid until June 19, 2026, provided they are unused.
It added that communication with applicants will be done via SMS and email, therefore rendering postage envelopes unnecessary.
During the application process, candidates were directed to provide a personal Ghana Card number, an active phone number, a valid personal email address, a residential address, and a Ghana Post Digital Address.
The Ministry cautioned that using another person’s Ghana Card number or email address is not permitted.
It said the same PIN and serial number can be used to track the status of an application after submission, adding that shortlisted candidates who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a competitive interview at their chosen school.
The Ministry urged applicants to ensure forms are completed accurately and submitted successfully, noting that incorrect or incomplete submissions may affect eligibility for admission.
