Ghanaian Trio Andre Ayew, Kamal Sowah and Denis Odoi Suffer Eredivisie Relegation with NAC Breda

Ghana international trio Andre Ayew, Kamal Sowah and Denis Odoi have been relegated from the Dutch Eredivisie with NAC Breda following the club’s 2-0 defeat away to FC Utrecht over the weekend.
The Yellow and Blacks were mathematically relegated with two games to spare and now sit in 17th position with 25 points. Even winning their remaining two matches will not be enough to save them from the drop.
All three Ghanaians started the crucial game, but only Denis Odoi lasted the entire duration. Andre Ayew was substituted in the 72nd minute while Kamal Sowah came off in the 94th minute.
For Kamal Sowah, the Right to Dream Academy graduate, he still has one-and-a-half years left on his contract at the club.
However, the future looks uncertain for both Andre Ayew, who joined in January, and Belgian-born Ghanaian Denis Odoi, who arrived in November last year, as both players will see their contracts expire at the end of the season.
The relegation brings a disappointing end to the campaign for the experienced trio as they look ahead to the next chapter in their careers.
