Dreams FC Lead Group C In Confederations Cup
Dreams Football Club are on the right path to qualifying for the next stage of the CAF Confederations Cup after moving atop Group C with 12 points.
The Still Believe lads were propelled from the second spot on the table to the first after they carefully bagged all three points at home, when they locked horns with Tunisian side Club Africain (CA) on Sunday.
A second-half tap-in by midfielder Godfred Kingsley Atuahene booked Coach Karim Zito’s side needed boost to victory.
Dreams are currently four points clear from CA, who hold nine points after five games. Meanwhile, Rivers United are third with nine points with Academia de Loto still lagging in button with no points after losing all five of their games.
Dreams have recorded a back-to-back victory since their loss in Tunisia on November 26 2023, where they suffered a 2-0 defeat in the opener.
Their last group game will be against Rivers United, who are currently third on the league log with nine points from three wins and two losses.
