Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Brown, popularly known as DKB, has lodged an official complaint against actress Rosemond Brown commonly known as ‘Akuapem Poloo’ for allegedly defaming him.
This comes after ‘Akuapem Poloo’ revealed in a video that a woman by name Maa Alice called her after she was released from prison and labelled her an Ingrate.
According to her the woman said she (Maa Alice) had sent an amount of four thousand cedis to DKB to give to her (Akuapem Poloo).
She claimed the woman said she (Akuapem Poloo) is an Ingrate because she had not called her to show appreciation.
‘Akuapem Poloo’ however, noted that she had not received any amount of money from DKB or any other person except for what she received from celebrities.
The statement given to the police by DKB maintained that he had not by any means met anyone by name Mama Alice neither had he taken an amount of four thousand cedis as claimed by the actress.
DKB believes the statement of ‘Akuapem Poloo ‘ taints his hard-built integrity.
“I find these very false allegations that have caused me a lot of humiliation, disgrace and undermining of integrity”, he wrote in his statement.
