Be Cautious; Police Warn After Downpour

The Ghana Police Service has issued a public statement telling residents of Accra and Tema to be extra cautious as they commute the various roads and streets.

This notice comes after a downpour throughout Monday night and this morning, the police said.

“School authorities and parents are also advised to pay extra attention to school children who are already in school and those who are still trying to make their way to school”.

Meanwhile, the police say a team of officers have been deployed onto the various roads to undertake patrol exercises.

“Police patrol teams have been deployed and are on the ground to ensure the safety of all.”
