Husband of Gospel Musician Celestine Donkor Attacked by Armed Robbers
Kofi Donkor, the husband and Manager of gospel musician Celestine Donkor, has been a victim of an armed robbery attack.
The incident, which left him injured, happened on Friday, September 26, 2025, at dawn while on his “routine prayer walk”, he recounted in a Facebook post.
“I was attacked at gunpoint this morning at about 4:48 while on my routine prayer walk. The robbers were two guys on a motorcycle.”
According to him, the thieves made away with his iPhone 16 Pro.
From images he shared on his Facebook page, he sustained some injuries from a fall into a ditch but has since received medical attention.
“I fell in a gutter in the process and sustained some injuries. I have since been treated and discharged at the Akawey hospital.”
He said a formal complaint has been lodged at Gbaweh Lafa police station.
Despite the horrifying experience, the artiste manager stood grateful to God for his life.
“Thankfully, I have my life, and I am grateful to God. Guys, stay safe out there. Life is precious.”
