Asante Kotoko Sacks Head Coach

Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has parted ways with head coach Seydou Zerbo.

This was announced in a Facebook post by the Club on Monday, a day after the Club suffered a 2:0 home defeat against Medeama SC.

According to the Club, the decision to abort his one-year contract was on mutual grounds.

“Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club and Coach Seydou Zerbo have this morning mutually agreed to part ways.”

The 59-year-old Burkinabe was signed in August 2022 to replace Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Out of the 23 games he superintended, Zerbo won 10, lost 7 and drew 6.

At the moment, Coach Abdul Gazale has been tasked to take charge as Acting Head Coach.
