Arsenal Confirms Talks With Partey Over Contract Extension

Arsenal says it is negotiating with Ghana international, Thomas Partey, for a potential contract extension.
The contract of the midfielder will expire at the end of the month.
He is among three players- Chloe Kelly and Michal Rosiak included- the club is seeking to keep.
“Discussions are ongoing, and once matters are finalised between all parties, we will communicate in due course.”
Meanwhile, the Emirates Stadium has sent away 20 men’s players and scholars who have represented the club at first-team, under-21, and under-18 levels, together with members of its women’s squad.
Having established himself as a lynchpin, the English Premier League side is bent on keeping 31-year-old Partey.
The Ghanaian was reported to be on the radar of Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, and clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Partey in the just-ended season made 52 appearances in all competitions for Mikel Arteta’s side.
The player has carved a niche for himself in the EPL, dominating opponents with his tough tackling, authority on the ball and passing range.
