AfCFTA Framework & Action Plan Launch Today

The framework and action plan for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will be launched today, August 2, 2022.

The event will take place at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

The event will be attended by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey and Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kyeremanten.

The event is meant to boost Ghana’s trade with other African countries to accelerate the continent’s growth and development.

The African Continental Free Trade Area is meant to form the world’s largest free trade area by creating a single market for goods and services of almost 1.3bn people across Africa and deepening the economic integration of Africa.
