Aduana FC Fined Over Attack On Tamale City

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has fined Aduana Stars Football Club ¢20,000.

This comes after the Disciplinary Committee of the FA found it guilty of an attack on Tamale City Football Club on April 2 during Marchweek 25 of the betPawa Premier League.

Out of the said amount, ¢10,000 will be paid to Tamale City.

After hosting Tamale City at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on the said day, supporters of Aduana FC attacked the bus of former injuring some players in the process.

The head coach of Tamale City, Hamza Mohammed, said the attackers pelted stones at the team while on the bus.

This warranted a ban on Aduana from hosting its home matches at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.

Also, the Club was issued a one-match ban on Matchweek 26.

The FA in a statement announcing the fine against Aduana FC, warned its supporters from undertaking such actions in the future.
