Section Of The Media Have Misconstrued What I said; Nana Yaw Amponsah Opens Up On How He Will Work With The Media

Young industrious Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko SC, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has opened up on how he is going to help the media to improve in their work to give accurate information.

Accessibility of information in Ghana is one of the difficult portion in the media landscape which has led rumours to take significant part of their work, but the newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer for Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has disclosed that under his watch he is going to create enabling environment where accessing information in the club will not demand toil.

The FIFA Intermediary had previously hinted that he is going to improve the work of the media during the unveiling of the 8-member Management.

Nonetheless, a section of the media has misconstrued what he said about improving the work of the Media.

Speaking exclusively on Opemsuo FM evening sports show, Pramaso, hosted by KOD, the brainy football administrator used the opportunity to filter the air with clarification.
“No football administrator in Ghana can say that he can run football in the country without the media. The media play a pivotal role in our line of duty.”

What I meant by improving the media was to create an enabling environment for the media landscape that give them an avenue to access information to give them more news.”
He concluded that, “a section of the media has misconstrued what I said, and I apologize.”

It’s an undeniable fact that ‘disclosure is better exposure’ which stops the work of muckracking journalists who are eager to feed their audience with exclusive news.
