Ghana U-17 Record Draw Against Saudi Arabia In International Friendly
The Black Starlets came from behind to draw against Saudi Arabia in the second leg of an international friendly game on Thursday.
Ghana recorded a 3:2 win against the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia on Sunday during the first leg in Ridya warranting the Saudi side to come into Thursday’s game with renewed vigour.
Their efforts earned them four goals in just the first half.
The Starlets managed to put into the net a goal in the first 45 minutes of the game.
The score sheet was altered by Coach Zito’s side in the second half when Starlet levelled the game.
Braces from Debrah Bossman and Peter Hammond made the day for Ghana’s U-17 team.
The Black Starlets through an impressive performance last month won the UEFA U-16 tournament in Serbia recording back-to-back victories against Serbia, Switzerland and Spain.
