Four Dead In Crash At Anyinasin Junction On Accra-Kumasi Highway

Four people have died in a fatal road crash involving a Toyota Voxy and a MAN Diesel trailer at Anyinasin Junction on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

The crash occurred on Monday, September 28, 2026.

According to the Ghana National Fire Service, the Bunso Fire Station responded to the distress call at 0521 hours and arrived at the scene at 0535 hours with a seven-member crew.

Firefighters extricated trapped victims, secured the scene and helped to maintain the free flow of traffic.

The Toyota Voxy with registration number GR 9430-26 was completely damaged, while the trailer with registration number GS 4064-26 sustained damage to its front compartment.

One male victim was rescued and conveyed to the Kibi Government Hospital for treatment, while the deceased comprised three males and one female.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and the scene has been handed over to the Police.
