GNFS Reports 2 Deaths After Road Crash On Accra-Aflao Highway
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has reported the deaths of two passengers following a road traffic accident over the weekend.
According to the Service, the accident occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2026, along the Kpetoe–Sarakope stretch of the Accra–Aflao Highway.
It involved a Hyundai H100 bus carrying 12 passengers and a Ford tractor with two occupants, all travelling from Kpetoe towards Aflao.
Frefighters rescued all 14 occupants and handed them over to the National Ambulance Service and Ghana Police Service for conveyance to the Ho Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
Two persons, one male and one female, were subsequently confirmed dead at the hospital.
The GNFS has urged motorists to exercise caution, avoid improper overtaking and adhere strictly to road safety regulations.
