CHRAJ Trains Agric Ministry Directors on Ethics, Asset Declaration and Anti-Corruption

The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) has organised a two-day training on Code of Conduct, Ethics and Integrity for directors and officers of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA).

The training focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of ethical leadership, asset declaration, conflict of interest, the Gift Policy and Ghana’s anti-corruption framework.

CHRAJ Commissioner, Mr Joseph Akanjolor Whittal, urged public officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity and to comply with their legal obligations, including the declaration of assets and liabilities.

He noted that adherence to these requirements is critical to building public trust and ensuring accountability in the delivery of public service.

Chief Director of MoFA, Mr Paul Siameh, expressed appreciation to CHRAJ for selecting the Ministry as one of the five institutions to benefit from the training.

He urged participants to take the asset declaration process seriously and to comply with all relevant requirements to avoid potential complications.

The training forms part of broader efforts to promote accountability, transparency and ethical conduct within the Public Service.
