Bawumia to Submit Nomination Forms On Thursday

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President, is set to file his nomination form later this week to compete in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primary.

According to details of a flyer released by the camp of Dr Bawumia, he will submit the forms on August 26, 2025, at the party headquarters in Accra.

It may be recalled that some youth organisers of the NPP picked up nomination forms for the 2024 Presidential candidate of the party on Wednesday, August 13.

The group included constituency and regional youth organisers from across the country.

Bawumia is one of many individuals who have expressed interest in leading the NPP in the 2028 Presidential race.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set January 31, 2026, to elect a flagbearer for the 2028 Presidential Elections.
