Vinicius Diagnosed With Biceps Injury

Real Madrid has said Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior has been diagnosed with an injury to his right biceps femoris muscle.

This was revealed after medical tests were performed on him.

“After the tests carried out on our player Vini Jr. by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the right biceps femoris muscle,” a statement from the Madrid said.

It was reported yesterday that the 24-year-old’s injury was more serious than earlier anticipated while Football Espana reported his injury may rule him out for a minimum of a month of action or up to six weeks.

The Club, however, did not confirm the degree of his injury and how long he will be absent.

“Evolution pending,” the statement from the Club said on Monday, August 28.

Vini sustained an injury during Los Blancos’ La Liga match against Celta Vigo on Friday.

Reports say Vini was taken off the pitch after collapsing to the ground holding his hamstring.
