2026 WCQ: 12 Trained On Monday- FA

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that 12 players were available for training ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches on Monday.

The training took place at the Accra Sports Stadium.

It said the remaining 12 are expected to join the team for Tuesday’s trip to N’Djamena for Chad’s game.

“Twelve players trained at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, with the rest of the squad expected to join the team for Tuesday’s trip. The Stars will train in N’Djamena on Wednesday ahead of the game on Thursday,” it said in a statement.

The Black Stars need a win to further solidify their grip on Group I, having won five matches and lost one in their six matches so far.

Ghana will face Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno at 1 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

The team currently leads Group I with 15 points from six matches, keeping them well-positioned for a fifth World Cup appearance.

The Black Stars will wrap up their qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros in October.
