2026 WCQ: You’ve Been Instrumental In Our Qualification- Black Stars to Ghanaians

The Black Stars of Ghana has expressed appreciation to Ghanaians following their qualification to the 2026 World Cup tournament.

In a statement, the team said Ghanaians’ passion, energy, and encouragement were instrumental in driving the team forward.

It noted that the support of fans had been a source of strength and motivation for the players, coaches, and staff.

“We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.”

“From the fans cheering loudly in the stadiums to those who followed from home, your support has meant the world to us. We are proud to represent Ghana on the global stage, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make the nation proud.”

Ghana sealed its spot at next summer’s World Cup in Mexico, Canada, and the United States of America after a 1-0 win over Comoros on Sunday.

They finished as group winners with an impressive 25 points.

The Black Stars concluded the campaign with eight wins, one draw, and one loss, topping Group I with a six-point margin.
