Sir John Urges Contractor to Speed Up Work on Abuakwa Road

The Ashanti Regional Patron of the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) of the NPP and 1st Vice Chairman of Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, Mr. John Kwame Duodo popularly known as Sir John, has called on the contractor working on the Abuakwa way to speed up the construction works.

According to Sir John, the expansion works on the road have already helped reduce traffic jams that caused problems for all road users on that stretch. However, he believes the contractor can further expedite the work and complete it as soon as possible to permanently address the congestion situation.

Speaking to Opemsuo News Reporter, Adwoa Serwaa Yonkodo, during the handing over ceremony and induction of new executives of TESCON at the Royal Ann’s College of Health, Abuakwa, he urged the new TESCON executives to work harder to help the NPP break the 8.

The program attracted many dignitaries, including the Atwima Nwabiagya South MP, Hon Emmanuel Anhwere, Hon Michael Amoah Awuku, Municipal Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal, and party executives among others.

Hon Emmanuel Anhwere, in his address, appreciated the pivotal role of TESCON in the New Patriotic Party and urged them to keep their focus on winning the 2024 election to enable the party to implement its developmental policies for the nation.

“I call on NPP delegates in the constituency to consider my good work and maintain me as the NPP Parliamentary candidate for the 2024 election,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Royal Ann College of Health TESCON President, Augustine Owusu, assured that they will do their best to help the NPP retain power. He, however, indicated that his outfit faces logistical challenges and called on the party leadership to support them.
